Boat Budget and Boat Budget Premium are made and sold by Marc Robitaille ("we", "us"). Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record.
Boat Budget is provided as it is, for keeping a boat's accounts and log. It is not a navigation instrument: the maps, positions, distances and the anchor alarm are aids, and you remain responsible for the safety of the boat and of the people aboard. Exchange rates are reference rates and may differ from what your bank charged.
Boat Budget Premium is a licence for one boat (the boat's page id, derived from the boat you created in the app) for one year, renewed yearly until cancelled, sold by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, whose terms also apply to the purchase. Every phone paired to the boat may use it. The app keeps Premium on for fourteen days after the paid year ends, so a late renewal does not interrupt it. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the licence runs to the end of the paid period. A full refund or a chargeback withdraws the licence. We may withdraw a licence that was obtained or shared by fraud. Prices are shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes.
We keep the app, its updates and the family map server running with reasonable care, but we do not promise they will be free of faults or always available: a boat at sea has no connection, and a server can be down. We are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by relying on the app for navigation or for financial decisions. Where the law of your country does not allow such a limitation, it applies only as far as the law allows. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
We may change these terms for future purchases; the terms in force when you bought apply to that year.
